Rainbow Pharmacy

Description by Hawika Espinoza
I remember going in Rainbow Pharmacy.  I like the shave ice they serve.  The building is red and white.  They give medicine in orange and white bottles.  Rainbow Pharmacy also gives out books to give advice.  The advice is to keep you healthy.  I think Rainbow Pharmacy is a useful place.

Interview with Kert Shuster, by Roland Etrata
I interviewed Kert Shuster at the Rainbow Pharmacy.  Kert Shuster came to Rainbow Pharmacy on October 7, 2015.

Before it was called Rainbow Pharmacy a long time ago it was called Lānaʻi Reality. Then the Rainbow Pharmacy was a dusty and even musty old office space.  Kert cleaned it all up with a new roof and new floor. They even cleaned all the termites out.  Rainbow Pharmacy is a very useful place.

History by Hawika Espinoza
Rainbow Pharmacy was built in 1925 to 1926.  The building has a colorful history.  Before Rainbow Pharmacy the building was Arita’s Barber Shop & Pool Hall.  Then it became a shoe repair shop and second hand store. It was owned by Mr. Matsumoto.  In 1941 the Rabbon Store opened to help Lānaʻi’s growing Filipino population.  It closed in 1984 and later became a museum, real estate office and visitors bureau.

Description by Roland Etrata
I have so much precious memories about Rainbow Pharmacy.  I want to go there again.  The food there is really good.  At the Rainbow Pharmacy they have shave ice.  The flavors are fruit punch, strawberry and grape.  The medicine they sell is important.  It will help people that are sick.  Rainbow Pharmacy is the best place ever!
