About

Project Description by Mrs. Montgomery
My 3rd graders worked hard on this Lānaʻi Town Square project and I am proud of the work they have done to create their own audio tour of Lānaʻi City.  The tour will help visitors and community members understand the meaning and history behind each building in our town.  We want to help visitors understand the “Real Lānaʻi”.

I hope that our project will also inspire more classes to do more fun, challenging projects like this.  Students learned a lot about history, writing, researching, technology, reading, presenting, collaborating and problem solving while they worked to make these projects look and sound so good.  They hope that people will actually enjoy learning about our community.
